By this I mean, they are envious , or maybe envy is too strong a word, it may just be confusion of their own thoughts that you have freed yourself from the shackels of a non fulfilling relationship. They struggle to show genuiness, although in some situations and with some friends they may in deed re focus themslves as genuine when they have got over the initial envy of your freedom. I have mixed thoughts in relation to friends during this time, I really believe that in order to get yourself through the situation ( divorce / infidelity) the one person you have to rely on is only yourself, you will not fail or abandon your feelings. Friends will re visist the relationship when they feel able to deal with the changes this has brought about in you.
