Everyone else thinks your midlife crisis is funny except you,

You feel guilty even thinking about it because of the demands you have from work and home,

Why didn’t someone older than you warn you about it?

The younger generation don’t want to hear you telling them,

No one listens when you use it as your excuse for infidelity,

The only people that are interested in talking to you about it are lawyers and counsellors / psychotherapists,

Now you know why your dad disappeared for 6 months when you were a kid,

Men with hair on their head and women with tight tummies seem to mock you,

Your doctor begins to know you by name,

You discover half way through your favourite sporting stunt that balance and agility have been replaced by wobbly bits and rusty joints
